Meredith has more than 27 years experience in real estate. She was the manager/broker of REALTY WORLD-In The Mall in Maryville, TN, for more than 14 years, from September, 1984 to December, 1998. She then was a REALTOR with King, Realtors until May 2001. Along with 9 other REALTORS she opened and is a shareholder of Town & Country-Realtors of East Tennessee, Inc., conveniently located in Foothills Mall in Maryville. In February, 2009 she opened SMOKY MOUNTAIN RECREATION PROPERTIES, LLC, participating with Cabela's Trophy Properties. She has many satisfied customers, both local and those moving in from out of town and out of state. She cares about her customers and works hard for them. She is a past president of the Blount County Association of REALTORS and was selected as the 1999 Blount County REALTOR of the Year.

Meredith is a licensed broker and has earned the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI). She has a bachelor's degree in music education and graduate courses in music and journalism.
Personal/Comments
Meredith has more than 27 years of service to the Blount County United Way and the Chamber of Commerce. She served a three-year term as Director of Real Estate and Insurance on the Chamber Board of Directors from 1998 through 2001, and in 2001 was also the Vice Chair of the Community/Economic Development Council. She is very active on several Chamber committees. Meredith was selected to be a member of the 2000-2001 class of Leadership Blount, which involved training seminars for community leaders. She is past president of the Board of Directors of the Blount County Education Foundation, which with a goal of raising $1 million for the county schools' programs raised $1,037,269 in a year and 3 months! She was a board member and past President of "Keep Blount Beautiful" and was given the "Ladybug Award" in June 2006 as the outstanding Board member. She was a class member and then on the board of directors of "Experience Your Smokies" for 3 years, and is a member and was the Finance Director for 4 years of the Knoxville Chapter of Embroiderers Guild of America. She is a Master Gardener and a member of the Blount County Master Gardeners. She is a wife, mother and grandmother and is active in her church. She enjoys gardening, needlework, boating, singing with her church choir, playing in the church handbell choir, spending time with her 4 granddaughters and traveling overseas on river cruises.
